InferexAI ("we", "our", or "us") operates the platform available at inferexai.in (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

  • Account data: email address and password when you register.
  • KYC data: PAN card number and Aadhaar number, collected to comply with Indian regulatory requirements before enabling payment and API access.
  • Payment data: payment method details processed by Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers or CVVs — Razorpay handles PCI-DSS compliance.

1.2 Information collected automatically

  • API usage logs: model name, token counts, latency, cost, and timestamp for every API call made with your key.
  • IP address and device info: recorded at login for security purposes.
  • Cookies / session tokens: used to maintain your authenticated session.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
  • Process payments and maintain your wallet balance.
  • Verify your identity (KYC) as required by Indian financial regulations.
  • Send account and billing notifications (no marketing without explicit consent).
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
  • Comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful government requests.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Razorpay: payment processing. Subject to Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers: servers that host the Service (data stored within India where possible).
  • Law enforcement / regulators: when legally required.

API request content (the prompts and completions you send through us) is forwarded to the upstream LLM provider (e.g., Cerebras, NeevCloud) solely to fulfill your request. We do not use your prompt content to train models.

4. Data Retention

  • Account data: retained while your account is active, and for up to 3 years after closure for legal and audit purposes.
  • KYC data: retained for a minimum of 5 years as required by Indian anti-money laundering regulations.
  • API usage logs: retained for 12 months, then deleted.
  • Payment records: retained for 7 years for accounting and tax purposes.

5. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards: encrypted connections (TLS), hashed credentials, access controls, and periodic security reviews. No system is perfectly secure; please protect your API keys and notify us immediately at security@inferexai.in if you suspect a breach.

6. Your Rights

You may request to:

  • Access or download the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements).

7. Children

The Service is not directed at anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or a prominent notice in the dashboard. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
