Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Nature of the Service
InferexAI provides a prepaid API gateway. When you top up your wallet, those credits are held in your account and deducted each time you make an API call based on token consumption and the applicable per-model rate. Because compute is consumed at the time of each request, credits used for API calls are non-refundable.
2. Eligibility for Refund
2.1 Eligible for refund
- Unused credits, within 7 days of top-up: If you topped up your wallet and have not made any API calls, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of the payment date.
- Duplicate / failed payment credited twice: If a technical error caused your wallet to be credited multiple times for a single payment, we will refund the duplicate amount.
- Service outage: If a verified outage on our side caused significant failed requests that were charged, we will issue a credit or refund on a case-by-case basis.
2.2 Not eligible for refund
- Credits already consumed by API calls, regardless of the quality of the LLM output.
- Refund requests made more than 7 days after the top-up date.
- Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service.
- Credits transferred to an organisation wallet.
3. How to Request a Refund
- Email support@inferexai.in with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Include your registered email address and the Razorpay Order ID (visible on your payment receipt).
- Describe the reason for the refund request.
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 7–10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method (bank account / card / UPI) via Razorpay.
4. Cancellation
InferexAI does not have subscriptions — there is nothing to "cancel". You may stop using the Service at any time. Your wallet balance will remain available until you request account closure.
To close your account and request a refund of any remaining unused balance, email support@inferexai.in. Account closure requests are processed within 5 business days.
5. Payment Disputes
If you believe an unauthorised payment was made from your account, contact us immediately. Do not raise a chargeback before contacting us — we are happy to investigate and resolve issues directly, and a chargeback will result in account suspension pending review.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. The updated policy will apply to top-ups made after the effective date. Previous top-ups will be governed by the policy in effect at the time of payment.
